Latest Release Notes

FileHound™ Cloud 5.1.2

Release date: 13th February 2026

This update focuses on workflow visibility, smoother admin management, improved session handling, and several key fixes across sharing, folders, and user status.

New & Improved
Workflow Status in Document Management
When a document is currently in a workflow, its workflow status is now visible directly within the Document Management / inbox views, so you can quickly see where it is in the process.

User-Ordered Libraries

  • Libraries now support user-specific ordering.

  • Users can drag and drop libraries into their preferred order, and FileHound will persist that order for them.

  • By default, libraries follow the admin-defined order until a user customises it.

Idle Timeout & Auto Logout

  • Added idle timeout functionality: if FileHound is left idle, users will now be logged out automatically after a set period.

  • Timeout duration is configurable between 5–60 minutes in the User Account settings.

Drag & Drop Library Folders in Admin

  • Library folders in the Admin Library can now be reordered via drag and drop, making folder organisation much faster.

🛠 Fixes & Optimisations

Folder Counts in Admin

  • The Admin folder view now shows the correct document count per folder (instead of always displaying 0).

Role Assignment UI Stability

  • Roles no longer jump/move unexpectedly when enabling/disabling during assignment.

Folder Information Now Populates

  • The Folder Information button now correctly displays folder details for users.

Inbox Admin Radio Selection Fix

  • Inbox selection in Admin now highlights only the selected inbox, rather than incorrectly highlighting.

More Accurate User Online Status

  • User status in the User Account list is now more reliable:

    • Users are marked Online upon login

    • Properly reflects logout / last online timing when switching users

Share Document Functionality Restored

  • Sharing a document now correctly includes:

    • The intended Subject

    • The intended Body

    • The correct document URL in the email

As always, thanks for using FileHound & keep the feedback coming!
